~ BYRON SHIRE DISCUSSION FORUMS ~ (featuring Covid-19)

WELCOME ~ Due to the unprecedented crisis, I have created this online discussion forum for people in the Byron Shire to share important information and ask important questions. In case you haven't noticed, our residents represent a wide range of beliefs about almost everything. WE DO NOT INTEND TO CENSOR THIS FORUM and the admin is NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE OPINIONS HERE. However we will move posts that we feel are not in the most appropriate section, and we will remove members who are excessively rude or abusive. Please respect each others opinions, no matter how misguided you may think they are!!! Register & Login below using the Social Icons in order to post or comment.

Whilst there are advantages of having a forum here on ByronNow.com where posts can be sorted properly into categories, and information is less likely to disappear into a news feed … there are also advantages to sharing on FB where more people are likely to see the info. I would like to recommend the following local groups. If you know of more relevant ones please add them as a reply to this post.

'Coronavirus Forum Mullumbimby / Byron Shire'  https://www.facebook.com/group.....7587225362
General non-moderated postings - public group

Flatten the Curve Mullumbimby https://www.facebook.com/group.....110221602/
A more moderated group "share current and factual information. and to provide access to useful resources and community support."

Coronavirus Research and Preparedness  https://www.facebook.com/group.....2823049957
"Practical, fact-based discussion group focused on sharing useful information on coronavirus and preparedness."

Mullumbytes - general Mullum sharing, but most of the recent posts are on the current subject
